The Huntington Community neighborhood came out in massive numbers for its annual National Night Out to enjoy barbecue from Famous’ Dave, cotton candy, ice cream bar, moon bounce, Zumba, Pure Play Every day, and more.

The Huntington neighborhood association held its annual block party the National Night Out on Wednesday, August 3, 2022. The purpose of which is to bring the police and the community together. This event continues the cohesive collaboration between neighborhood and community. Lieutenant Oliver with the sheriffs was onsite interacting with the community, meeting the kids and people from the community along with the Association members.

The National Night Out culminates on the first week in August and is an annual community-building campaign that enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
