We spent half the day at Upward Thrive Academy Inc. In Charles County Maryland. I have to say, the kids had a blast with all the activities they were exposed to.
The academy help individuals restore, improve, and maintain personal, family, community, and occupational wellness. That is evident just seeing how the kids connect with each other, participating on teams to complete tasks, and of course be out of the house. A majority of the kids are homeschooled and this academy play a major role in their journey as homeschoolers. The academy is operated by Alicia P. Hadley, executive director and a team supportive team of directors.
